A new venture has recently begun in my workplace. The Customer Experience Blog.
I work in a large telecommunications company with thousands of employees. One of the company goals, losely termed here so as to not give the company name away, is to provide the best customer experience possible. Recently an initiative was set up by the company to venture into Social Networking by creating a blog for the employees, run by the employees.
The blog is not a platform for whinging about co-workers, managers or the workplace, it is designed for people to share their thoughts on the idea of ‘Customer Experience’ and how in can be improved.
Last week interested employees were invited to attend a workshop session to formulate ideas and principals on which the blog will be based. It’s a great idea and I believe it will be very interesting to see what kind of content is created.
The blog is not yet up and running, but we have been asked to start writing articles for when the blog goes live to the rest of the company.
I thought that it would be a good idea to post my articles here as well so that I can get some feedback from people I don’t work with who may have something relevant to add. The idea is to use comments to create new ideas for posts or to expand on already written posts. Customer Experience comes in all forms and we all have a different view of what ‘Customer Experience’ is.
So if you come across one of my articles here, and you won’t be able to mistake them, I’d really appreciate any comments that you may have.

Great to see you are getting into it!! The guys have been working hard in setting up the blogging platform and its almost there. Can’t wait for it to launch and get collaborating even further..
Well I wanted to add my work here as well and get the thought of others. I have alot of ideas. Putting them on paper will take some time!
